Canada-United States Law Institute Executive Committee
The Canada-United States Law Institute Executive Committee is the governing body of CUSLI and is responsible for all CUSLI policies, programs and other activities, subject to the supervision by the National Directors. The Executive Committee meets on a regular basis to review CUSLI'S budget and financing, as well as current and future programs.PRESIDENTS

Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Western Law are CUSLI's Founding Institutions.
The deans of each law faculty serve as the co-Presidents of CUSLI. Case Western Reserve University School of Law Dean Lawrence Mitchell and University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law Dean Iain Scott presently serve as co-Presidents.
Each dean has appointed a full-time member of its faculty to serve as the National Director of CUSLI. Case Western Reserve University School of Law Professor Michael Scharf serves as the U.S. Director, and University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law Professor Chios Carmody presently serves as the Canadian Director.
The National Directors promote the development of Canada-U.S. based curricula and research opportunities at each law faculty; foster students and faculty exchange programs; serve as faculty advisors to the Canada-United States Law Journal and the Canada-United States Law Institute Student Committee; and serve as members of the Canada-United States Law Institute Executive Committee.
