King, Jr., and International were quoted by the Cleveland Plain Dealer regarding Canada-U.S. border delays. The Canada-United States border is the longest border in the world and governs the world's largest bi-lateral trading relationship. CWRU School of Law Professor and Chairman of the law school's Canada-United States Law Institute, Henry King, as well as Advisory Board Member P. Kelly Tompkins of RPM, were quoted in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The shipping bottleneck at the border is a problem that needs to be fixed, King said, because it penalizes the United States, the Great Lakes region and Northeast Ohio, stealing money and stifling jobs. And within a year, new border security measures could slow commerce even more. "The public has to become aware that our prosperity suffers when we slow down trade with our biggest partner," he said.
